How Was This List Made?

The USA TODAY 10 BEST Caribbean golf courses were created from a larger group of courses by a panel of experts and USA TODAY editors before being voted on by the public.
How many of these gems have you played?
1. Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club

Karl Litten designed this target-style course, which features rugged limestone formations and waterways with herons, egrets, and flamingos. The best is busy getting even better on Providenciales. Partially closed until mid-November, players can wait to tee off or enjoy discounted rates to play the 15 to 17 open holes.
2. Old Quarry Golf Course

Experts rate it one of the best islands in the Caribbean for its low crowds, world-class dive sites, and idyllic weather. Many believe that the beauty of Curacao and the greens at Old Quarry Golf Course make it one of the top golf vacations in the world. Designed by Pete Due and named after the property’s 19th-century limestone quarry, the seaside layout fits into the island’s hills and valleys seamlessly.
3. Point Hardy Golf Club at Cabot

Golf Digest said it could be one of Earth’s most beautiful golf courses. Why not see for yourself and decide?
Set on a dramatic tip in Northern St. Lucia, it offers jaw-dropping views, including royalty’s favorite Mustique island in the distance. Designed with a light touch, it gives players the sense that Mother Nature herself sculpted the course. But it was Coore and Crenshaw who bent the greens around lush terrain, rocky outcrops, rugged bays, and sandy beaches.
4. Tierra Del Sol Golf Course

Tierra del Sol Golf Course by Iberostar is an 18-hole certified championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. It is situated on nearly 600 acres of unspoiled Aruba beauty underneath the historic lighthouse and offers spectacular panoramic views. By the end of July, refreshed greens and enhanced fairways will be completed across all 18 holes, making 2025 the perfect time to tee off.
Only 20 minutes from the cruise terminal, it’s possible to squeeze in a game if you’re visiting Aruba only for the day.
5. Teeth of the Dog

A mainstay on ‘best Caribbean golf course’ lists for decades, Teeth of the Dog’s reputation is well earned. However, the Pete Dye masterpiece will be closed until December for a complete restoration. If you already have plans to visit Casa de Campo Resort, their Dye Fore and The Links will remain open, welcoming golfers to experience two of the most underrated courses in the region.
6. Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club

The Caribbean Journal has named it the best Caribbean Golf Resort of the year. This island near St. Martin is home to luxury resorts, but only Aurora Anguilla is the ultimate Family Resort Caribbean escape, so bring the whole family along.
The property includes Greg Norman-designed greens that are as demanding as gorgeous. Take your time teeing off and soak in the panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and St. Martin. You’re on vacation, after all.
7. Cinnamon Hill

If you’re looking for a golf getaway that also doubles as a Jamaican family vacation, look no further than Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, an all-inclusive resort home to one of Jamaica’s largest water parks.
Drop the kids off at the Kids Klub or Teen Zone and tee off at the on-site 18-hole Cinnamon Hill golf course, which offers just the right amount of challenges and endless ocean views.
8. Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course

Leave the Caribbean crowds behind for a true getaway at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. View the neighboring island of St Kitts as you tee off on their 18-hole, par-71 course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Built on the site of a 1790s sugar and coconut plantation, the remains of a stone windmill are integrated into the course’s second tee.
9. Half Moon Golf Course

Jamaica’s highest-rated resort is also the home of Robert Trent Jones, Sr.’s 1962 bow-tie classic masterpiece. Modernized by Roger Rulewich, the course still offers Half Moon Bay vistas throughout the old sugarcane estate setting. Caribbean sea winds constantly blow, but the caddies, who have seen it all, are players’ secret weapons.
10. Ralph Plummer Golf Course

For over 65 years, The Tryall Golf & Beach Club in Jamaica has delighted guests and players with its hospitality, luxe accommodations, and 2,200 acres of natural beauty. Its challenging Ralph Plummer 18-hole championship course covers 6,772 yard with rolling fairways and smartly placed bunkers.
