Allianz Travel Insurance found Americans are planning holiday trips to New York City, Cancun, Mexico, and other warm-weather domestic and international locations.

AAA data also illustrates this trend, with destinations like Florida, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, and European cities like London and Rome rounding out their lists.

New York City
Hilton, the second largest hotel chain in the world, reports that their members have booked rooms in the following five cities the most. The iconic holiday destination, New York City, tops its list of holiday destinations.
